Many people are often confused about the billing process in the medical field as a whole, and at an Urgent Care in particular. The process is not that complex. My Urgent Care will submit your visit and insurance information to our outsourced billing department immediately following your visit. Billers will work hand in hand with your insurance carrier. After receiving your claim, within legal time frame of 30 days, your insurance carrier will provide us any applicable payment along with "Explanation of Benefits" (EOB) or letter with any further requirement insurance claims processors may have from you or us. At the same time your insurance carrier will provide you (too) with an "Explanation of Benefits" (EOB) or letter with any further requirement insurance claims processors may have from you or us. Please promptly contact your insurance if any information is required from you. So that insurance may process your claim in timely manner.
My Urgent Care bills your insurance company on your behalf as a courtesy. However, if your insurance company does not pay your claim within 60-days, the total charges will become your full responsibility. Please be assured that we will pursue payment from your insurance company. We and your insurance company, also, will keep you informed of the status of your claim or any coverage or claim related information they may need from you.

To ensure accurate billing, please present your insurance card, policy holder's information and a photo ID at the time of registering. We require that you pay your co-pay, co-insurance, deductibles prior to your visit at the time of service. If you do not have insurance, we do offer self-pay discounts. For your convenience, all major credit cards and cash are accepted. We do not accept personal checks.
